Financial support for the disabled

The persons disabled from birth or early childhood – being the ones currently protesting in the Seym of the Republic of Poland – and their caregivers (regardless of their financial condition, since no means test applies in their case), receive a monthly support of at least PLN 3 thousand.

System of assistance for disabled persons

The system of support for disabled people and their families will be based on three pillars. The first pillar consists of a solidarity support fund for people with disabilities. More support for disabled persons

In 2017, the PiS government allocated a record PLN 17.4 billion to support disabled persons and their caretakers. It is over PLN 2.85 billion more than in 2015. The increase in budget expenses allows for satisfying a wider range of needs of disabled persons and their caretakers.
